About Us

Around 1,120 members live in our Branch area, which is Brighton & Hove, Lewes, Seaford, Newhaven, Haywards Heath, Burgess Hill, Shoreham-by-Sea and the area in between as delineated by the dashed lines on the Map below. So what do we do – apart from drink beer and run this website?

Map showing boundaries of the CAMRA Sussex Branches

1. Organise the annual South Downs Beer Festival in Lewes at The Old Town Hall Corn Exchange; next year's one is scheduled to take place on 20&21 June 2025; for further news please check this website; details will be posted nearer the time

2 The Good Beer Guide: Our current allocation is 38 pubs to be selected from our area for inclusion in CAMRA's annual Good Beer Guide.
CAMRA Members who wish to help in this process to aid in selection of pubs for future editions of the Guide need to use CAMRA's National Beer Scoring System (NBSS) using either CAMRA's WhatPub website CAMRA WhatPub or the CAMRA Good Beer Guide App CAMRA GBG App
